Demo notice
Version 1.1 · 13 October 2026
This notice describes the camera demo on the SocialTag main page and the Moments Lab demo linked from it. Other SocialTag experiences may work differently and need their own feature disclosures.
Who to contact
SocialTag is currently operated by Tendayi Mapondera trading as SocialTag, at 31 Bath Road, Belgravia, Harare, Zimbabwe. Churchlands Projects (Private) Limited is the intended future product owner, not the current provider. Contact SocialTag.zw@gmail.com.
Your camera and photos
The camera opens after you tap a camera control and your browser grants permission. This demo requests video for still-photo capture, with microphone access disabled. Taking a photo applies the overlay in your browser. Moments Lab also lets you select an existing photo or logo, processed locally in the browser. The demo does not upload the photo to SocialTag, an organiser or a gallery, and has no account or registration form.
Download or Save downloads the photo to your device. Moments Lab’s Share button opens your device’s share menu where supported; the app or recipient you choose then handles the photo under its own terms. Do not photograph or share other people without appropriate permission. A parent or guardian should supervise children’s use.
The saved demo link
In Moments Lab, if you tap Save link, the pasted public URL is saved in local storage in this browser on this device. It remains until you use Clear saved link or the browser removes site data. It is not uploaded or synchronised by the demo. Clearing it removes this demo’s saved-link entry and resets its QR to the current page address; it does not delete downloaded photos or browsing history. Opening or scanning a QR to another website sends your browser to that website.
Hosting and external links
The QR library is bundled into the demo; it makes no request to Cloudflare’s cdnjs. These pages contain no analytics scripts. The main page loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives technical request information when those fonts are requested. The Moments Lab and this notice use bundled assets and system fonts. When hosted on Vercel, website delivery involves technical information such as IP addresses and request details under Vercel’s Privacy Notice. The absence of photo uploads does not mean no technical information is processed.
Clicking an email link opens your chosen email application. Information you choose to send in messages is received by us and handled by the relevant messaging provider.
Illustrations and enquiries
Demo brands, rewards and campaign examples are illustrations, not promises of a real reward or endorsements. Prices and enquiries do not create a booking: a paid engagement requires an accepted written quotation and written booking confirmation, with any agreed initial payment. Features shown in a demo are not commitments to deliver them.
The Website Terms, Privacy Notice, Guest Terms and Client Service Terms are included for review as drafts, not yet in force. They now identify Tendayi Mapondera as the current operator; regulatory assessment and final review remain outstanding.
