Website Terms

Prepared 13 October 2026 · Version 4.2 · Tendayi Mapondera trading as SocialTag · 31 Bath Road, Belgravia, Harare, Zimbabwe

Draft — not yet in forceOperator details and commercial choices are completed. Regulatory status and final legal review remain outstanding. These pages are available for review; no booking incorporates them unless an approved version is expressly agreed in writing.

These pages cover socialtag.app, www.socialtag.app and every SocialTag subdomain operated or controlled by Tendayi Mapondera. An organiser’s campaign notice adds its identity, dates and reward rules without removing mandatory rights.

1. Operator and scope

SocialTag is currently operated by Tendayi Mapondera trading as SocialTag, at 31 Bath Road, Belgravia, Harare, Zimbabwe. Contact SocialTag.zw@gmail.com. Churchlands Projects (Private) Limited is the intended future product owner; it is not the current contracting provider under these drafts. Any change of operator will be disclosed, with any required agreement or data-protection arrangements completed.

These pages cover socialtag.app, www.socialtag.app and every SocialTag subdomain operated or controlled by Tendayi Mapondera. An organiser’s campaign notice adds its identity, dates and reward rules without removing mandatory rights.

2. Current features

The main site contains a still-photo camera demo. Moments Lab also supports selecting a photo or logo, creating a local branded preview, generating a QR code, saving a public demo link locally, downloading a photo and opening the device share menu. These sites have no user accounts, registration forms, hosted photo galleries or photo upload function. Concept dashboards and sample figures are not live measurement. Future features require their own updated terms and disclosures before activation.

3. Using the service

Use the service lawfully and respect others’ rights. Obtain appropriate permission before photographing or sharing identifiable people or using their brands. Do not upload unlawful or infringing material, interfere with the service, exploit children or bypass security. Children should use the demo with an appropriate parent or guardian. Camera permission is controlled by your browser; declining permission does not prevent reading the site.

Fair use

Ordinary guest use is welcome. Do not use bots, automated mass scanning, spam or deliberate overload, or interfere with the service. Temporary restrictions may be needed to protect security or availability and will be proportionate to the issue. Normal sharing or a popular campaign is not, by itself, misuse. These terms do not impose an undisclosed scan charge on guests.

4. Photos and third-party sharing

The current demos process photos in your browser and do not send them to SocialTag or an organiser. You retain the rights you hold in your photos. Downloading saves a copy to your device. Choosing Share transfers it through the application or recipient you select; their terms apply. SocialTag does not receive an automatic promotional reuse licence. See the Guest Terms and Privacy Notice.

5. Bookings and subscriptions

Website prices and enquiries are invitations to discuss a service, not accepted bookings. Paid work requires an accepted written quotation, written booking confirmation and the agreed initial payment. The approved Client Terms govern fixed activations and Always-On subscriptions. Always-On covers one agreed physical venue. Other branches and separate off-site activations require prior written approval under the Client Terms. Ordinary guest photo sharing remains permitted. An allocated subdomain is a service address controlled by SocialTag and stays active while the agreed service is paid for; it is not sold or promised forever.

6. Demos, brands and rewards

Demo campaign names, offers and dashboard figures are illustrative unless expressly identified as authorised live examples. No actual reward, endorsement, measured reach or return on investment is promised by a demo. A disclaimer does not establish trademark permission. Real rewards require a named promoter, clear rules, lawful approvals and agreed technical support.

7. Service, rights and disputes

We use reasonable care but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, every device’s compatibility, virality or sales. Mandatory consumer rights and liability that cannot lawfully be excluded remain intact. The paid-client cap is not imposed on free guests by these Website Terms. Zimbabwean law applies subject to mandatory protections elsewhere. Contact us to resolve concerns; competent courts, regulator complaints and urgent legal relief remain available. Material changes will be identified with the updated version and any required consent obtained.
